Doing construction again today...... I forgot what hard physical work is like.

I'll post pictures tonight, but the gist is this: We are days ahead of schedule, after
only one day of work. Somehow we HAVE to slow down and take it easier. We'll
be done way too quick at this rate.
First, breakfast with my partner, then away we go!
Oh... the stone cutting and polishing thing..... I guess it gets to you after a while.
Last night, pretty much exhausted, and I still drifted to the basement to polish
a few slices..... not really meaning to. I think this weekend much time will be spent
over saw and polishing wheel.
Update: No pictures tonight. I'll take some tomorrow. Just.... exhausted.

Why 'A New Direction' ?
I changed the name of this blog to reflect the changes in my life. I've given it a good shaking out (my life that is) and beaten the dust off. In doing so I've discovered that life is worth living again, and I intend to do so!
With the change in my life, comes a change in this blog. Once named 'Mal-Fits', meaning it was built of the small bits that didn't fit anyplace else, it's now going to follow my journey through life.
This blog has also gone private. I've decided I wish more freedom in what I say.... and more say in who shares it. Thus, 'the tribe' as Phlegm so well titled them, are welcome. With leaving for work at 3:30 I'm not going to do anything tonight but polish off some leftover homemade mac and cheese.
Looking forward to seeing more stones.
No stone work tonight. Maybe Friday or the weekend.
