Today's simple quiz, just to see if they are listening. With my grading system, everyone in the class is in the 20% range right now and this quiz could help them... They have already been given a '0' on it, so no place to go but up!
1) The primary ignition is a __________ voltage system.
2) The secondary ignition is a ___________ voltage system.
3) The purpose of the primary ignition is to ________________ the _______________.
4) What component is part of both the primary and secondary systems.? _____________.
5) The length of the threaded potion of a spark plug is called the ____________________.
6) One type of spark plug seat is called a ________________ seat.
7) The other kind is called a ___________________ seat.
8) What kind of spark plug is NOT gapped by the technician? ______________________.
9) Spark plugs must always be ________________ when installing.
10) Most modern ignition coils can produce how much voltage? _________________.
11) Power for the ignition system comes from the ________________.
12) The ignition switch is part of the ______________ system.
13) An ignition coil can be electrically bench tested with an _________ meter.
14) The purpose of a spark plug is to provide a place for voltage to go to ____________.
15) Ignition wires must always be properly routed away from _______________ and ______________ components.
Just a simple, easy, wake up call......
"Yooo Hoooo! Wakey Wakey! Life is calling!"

Is 1 and 2 low and high respectively?
Or are you talking about AC and DC?
I'm not up on vehicular motating machine electrical systems...
Doesn't look too hard, but it HAS been many years since I studied basic automobile ignition systems. Will you give us an answer key later to check ourselves?
