Congressional approval ratings...... Oh My!

Ok, so I never paid too much attention to these polls. In fact, I never paid much attention to polls in any case. I always figured anyone bright enough to have a worthwhile opinion was probably too bright to talk to a pollster.

That said... Have you seen the 'polled' public opinion of congress?

Can you say..... tanksville?

Like one big collective raspberry to the bunch of political hacks working in the converted swamp called the District Of Columbia. Like someone just turned over the rock and found..... ewe.......


More striking to me, though is the chart showing Congress's approval rating over the last thirty years. Steadily under 50%. That means for over three decades the majority of Americans have not liked the job Congress is doing.

Frankly, If I spent any length of time at all doing something that the majority of my customers thought I really stank at, I'd find a new line of work.

It must take a very special kind of person to want that job......
