Awarded only one flashA moments light, quickly gone
Gray now rules the day
Today, a funeral to attend and a casket to carry. No one close, but it's never an enjoyable duty.
Then, lunch with the in-laws.
A bit like the Adams family, only without the joy and happiness.
The sun paused a moment to flash in my eyes, and say hello. Long enough to capture the image, then it was swallowed whole by gray overcast. Funny, how the day exactly matches my mood.

It's a perfect. gray day for it, at any rate...
Not a pleasant way to spend an unpleasant day. Sorry.
Cranky, yes. Tradition in her family to get buried on a cold, rainy day. Adds to the misery, just as they like it.
Jean.... They weren't burying me. That was the best part. The rest wasn't any fun.
This morning I got one flash of sun, and a few moments of light in my life. That is sustaining.
