Canned food drive update... going shopping!

Canned food drive update......

Ok, thanks to a few lovely ladies the pot is bigger by a few bucks.
Here at Mal-Fits manor, mama has looked closely at our budget
and made the pronouncement... We can spend about $100
without skipping any major bills or starving the dogs.
Not worried about the kids.... they can hunt up something edible
on their own.

I found veggies down at the store at 50cents per can. Not near
good enough. There are a few other places we are off to try
this morning, with the final excruciating choice being...
Deep, horrible shudder.... Wal-Mart.
(cracking sound of the gates of hell opening)

Yes, I will visit Hell if need be. I probably know most of the
people there anyway.

I have blog stuff piling up.... but it can all sit in draft form till
this food drive thing gets it's butt in gear!
