Why 'A New Direction' ?
I changed the name of this blog to reflect the changes in my life. I've given it a good shaking out (my life that is) and beaten the dust off. In doing so I've discovered that life is worth living again, and I intend to do so!
With the change in my life, comes a change in this blog. Once named 'Mal-Fits', meaning it was built of the small bits that didn't fit anyplace else, it's now going to follow my journey through life.
This blog has also gone private. I've decided I wish more freedom in what I say.... and more say in who shares it. Thus, 'the tribe' as Phlegm so well titled them, are welcome. In reading this now, you are invited to suggest anyone you might like to have here with us. Just E-mail me with their name and address, or ask them to if they wish. My E-mail is:

That's a big group! You and Smith do ALL of those?
Very well done. . they look proud actually.
Uh... full crew for us right now is forty five. This photo is only the ones here, while I was taking a picture, who just got their licenses. We actually had over thirty who will receive their SI license one way or another, and another twenty who will get an emisssions license as well.
That's a little below standard for us, but it has been a challenging group this year. In some cases very challenging.
Great! Now which ones are honest enough for me to take my truck to?
