Mother nature looked upon her son, Carteach0, and said "Boy, why are you working twelve hour days? Is that how I taught you to enjoy life?"
I replied "Mom, gotta do what I gotta do. People need schooling, so I teach. I need classes, so I attend.... just doing what I gotta do".
Mom then said "Carteach0, sit down and shut up. You are taking this evening off. I'm sending a snow storm your way... with ice, slush, sleet, and all manner of goodness. Chaos will descend upon your world and your duties will be forgiven this night. Go rest, or else,"
Then it snowed. It also sleeted, slushed, rained, and just generally yucked.
In the midst of two weeks of twelve hour days..... a sudden evening off to watch the snow fall. With a hot cup of wonderful coffee from a friend, no pressing requirements except fatherly worries.... it's time to relax.
Ahhhhhhhh........................... Thanks Mom.

Mother knows best what her children need and when. Glad you were a good boy and listened.
Hoping.... wishing... for a two hour delay tomorrow.
Rain hitting the window, a light washing rain.... and 34 degrees outside. Maybe delay, maybe painful price of an evening off, a morning of slush and ugliness.
No... I think tomorrow will be a good day, a fine day... and one I will enjoy immensely.
