In response....

A comment further down, so to the point, has been on my mind.

Why is it, with such complicated and busy lives, all that matters can boil down to just one person? How is it the whole wide beautiful world can fade... become an echo... a shadow of what is, when that one person special to you steps onto the scene?

Priorities and perception come into play. Re-evaluation happens. Lives change.

It does seem that as much as we (I) would like to think of ourselves as 'complete' within ourselves, there must be a reason for the phrase 'better half'.
Without that, something feels missing. *sigh*

Jean, all I can tell you is...

Things happen... whether you want them to or not.... even good things.

Wish I could give all kinds of great advice. I'm really a big idiot... acting more like a leaf on the winds of fate.

But, If an idiot like me can get lucky... what could happen for you?

'Idiot' is not one of the words in the dictionary after your name.
Not even close.

Perhaps some people, like myself, are just meant to be alone.
Could be worse.

Well, when that happens, it must be lovely.
