Why 'A New Direction' ?
I changed the name of this blog to reflect the changes in my life. I've given it a good shaking out (my life that is) and beaten the dust off. In doing so I've discovered that life is worth living again, and I intend to do so!
With the change in my life, comes a change in this blog. Once named 'Mal-Fits', meaning it was built of the small bits that didn't fit anyplace else, it's now going to follow my journey through life.
This blog has also gone private. I've decided I wish more freedom in what I say.... and more say in who shares it. Thus, 'the tribe' as Phlegm so well titled them, are welcome. In reading this now, you are invited to suggest anyone you might like to have here with us. Just E-mail me with their name and address, or ask them to if they wish. My E-mail is:

More to the story..
I was part of a 'gunfighters' acting group. We staged shows, raising money for childrens charities. Mock western... real fun stuff. Had some good people teach us decently realistic moves, acted with guns, made some pretty big low explosive booms.... Tons of fun.
I was usually staged under one of two names. Mongo, or 'The Wall'.
So named because one of my main parts was to act as 'The Wall' people got bounced off in the fight scenes.
You know.... "Throw him against the Wall!" (Evil Laugh, BWAHAHA)
After that. That, and faking blowing things up, were my favorite parts.
