Gun show yard sale, day one

I did not buy a thing!

Well, I did buy a book for $5 and an apple dumpling for lunch.
The book..... because I forgot reading material. My choice: 'Enemy at the gate'.
Not the book/movie, but a historical accounting of the siege on Stalingrad.

The show was busy in the morning, and I did ok. I sold some long guns
that I won't miss terribly (NO mil-surps!). Also some ammo, and reloading gear for calibers I don't own anymore. Mostly fun, and surprisingly few morons attending.
The afternoon was slow.... maybe because it rained like mad. You maybe heard the phrase cats and dogs? Lets try saber tooth werewolves.

I made it about 100 pages into the book.

Money wise, I'm doing okay. The amount isn't critical, but the point is.
Doing this means I'll be putting a chunk in my brandy-new savings account.
It's a way point for me...... on the road to financial accountability, maturity, sanity...... peace. I'm giving up some 'things' in exchange for my future.
It's an act of faith in myself, and where I'm going.

But... there is a five line 1891 Mosin there, with the original bayonet......
Give me strength!
