An offer, soon accepted

The folks I am staying with made an offer.... a bedroom and my own living room, use of the house/garage/pool/kitchen/laundry/etc for $XXX.xx a month. Figures out to be about half what a crappy one bedroom apartment would cost per month, all told.

I thought about it a bit, and tonight I'll accept. It gives me time to put some cash in the bank, and not rush into an 'acceptable' rental. It starts with the first... and I'll be moving a few things into the rooms. Gun safe, books, computer/office stuff, ......... such things.

For three, six, nine months it will be fine. The pressure is off.

I know they are being kind, and I am grateful to them for it.
But... I asked if my taking out the trash and cleaning the windows had anything to do with it. She answered 'no' with a laugh... but hesitated first :-)

Oh.... this blog is going public again shortly. I'm over the whiny stuff and the reason it went private is fading away slowly.
