This afternoon I got restless. Even when I am lazy, I am lazy while doing something. Today, here, I had nothing to do. Me with nothing to do is a bad situation.
I started cleaning a bit. Woodwork. Pots/pans. The coffee pot. The stove.
Then, since it was a clean cook top, and it's a Viking range, and I've never cooked on a Viking before... I cooked.
Texmati rice, toasted with butter, then done in a pressure cooker with browned sausage, crisp bacon, butter, and spicy orange sauce.
No pictures of the final product.... they got home just as it got done, and it was
eaten by people standing in the kitchen. I had no time to grab the camera after the pot was opened. (Too busy shoveling my own share in).
I can sit around and be lazy, if I have someone to do it with. That's been a few years. Lacking that, I need to do something. Funny thing is, I really am a lazy person. I'm just not good at being lazy.

Yum. . I've got the leftover beef stew to which some cheese was sprinkled on top, then cornbread batter, sprinkled with sage and it's baking in cast iron. That ought to do it.
geez...I should be so lazy.
